Kevin Pittinaro has been writing and performing comedy since 2005, when he first started
performing at Open-Mics at Comix Cafe in Rochester, NY. One of Kevin's greatest assests
as a comedian is his desire to always have a different act. Never mainstream, always
unconventional, Kevin strives to inject elements from his own life, as well as his own
skewed perception of the world, into his shows. Always willing to try something once, Kevin has
tackled topics from growing up as a geek, to current events and politics, to random thoughts,
and even singing funny songs (or at least attempting to). Kevin has also performed improv,
impressions, and dressed up in costumes on stage to get a laugh.
Kevin has performed his unique brand of comedy at a host of venues from Rochester to Albany
to New York City, including: Backstage Pub (Schenectady, NY), Boulder Coffee (Rochester, NY),
Broadway Comedy Club (NYC), Comix Cafe (Rochester, NY; defunct), Duke's Pub (Glenmont, NY),
Everyday's Tropical Cantina (Albany, NY), The Funny Farm (Gloversville, NY), The Lark Tavern
(Albany, NY), The Mez (Rochester, NY; defunct), New York Comedy Club (NYC),
River Street Pub (Troy, NY), Union Inn (Schenectady, NY), and many others.
Kevin has also appeared in several films, including: "The Game Plan", "Taking Woodstock",
"Edge of Darkness", and "The Fighter".
Kevin is currently living in the Albany, NY area, where he mainly performs around the Capital
Region. He is currently working on "breaking into" the NYC comedy scene more, despite his
not living there. Besides comedy, Kevin also is interested in acting and is actively searching
for more work as a professional actor and voice-talent. Someone once said about Kevin, after
seeing him perform, "Someday this kid will have his own special on HBO!" So, keep your eyes
on this rising star and watch what happens next!
